FORBIDDEN FRUIT 2017: Bon Iver's headline set gets past heavenly hurdles ..
Perhaps opening the set with a song where the hook goes “it might be over soon” was tempting fate.
Justin Vernon of Bon Iver was quick to commend fans for braving the rain and soon he was battling it himself as soggy equipment ground the show to a 15-minute halt.
It had been a triumph until then, with the first half of the set focusing on 22, a Million material - the heavily-autotuned vocal layering of ‘715 - CRΣΣKS’ an early highlight.

The delicate arrangements of Bon Iver, Bon Iver went down a storm though - ‘Holocene’ as heartbreaking as ever.
Those with the patience to endure the enforced break were rewarded with the stately grandeur of ‘Beth/Rest’ - absolutely worth getting soaked for. We’re just hoping for a quick return
