Fontaines D.C set to play ESNS Festival in January
The Irish band will play at the four day music showcase taking place early next year.
Dubbed as "the place to discover artists of the future" ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) is an annual four-day music showcase festival and conference held in January in Groningen, Netherlands. ESNS is the biggest showcase festival in Europe and has a proven track record of helping to break new acts on the international music scene by staging more than 350 showcases alongside a full conference program.
ESNS have announced the first batch of artists for its upcoming showcase, taking place from January 16-19, 2019, selected in cooperation with national radio broadcasters. The only Irish band so far on the line-up, Fontaines D.C were selected with RTE 2FM. The Dublin band have a track record of stellar live performances including festivals such as Electric Picnic and are sure to make an impressive display at next year's festival.
Boy Azooga in conjunction with BBC have also been selected.
The presale date for the festival will be announced shortly. Meanwhile registrations for the ESNS conference are currently available via esns.nl. The deadline to register for the medium rate is September 27th.
