It was inevitable that colourful crackpot Nicki Minaj would recruit the unsinkable Rihanna Fenty to sing on her debut album Pink Friday, but we just weren’t banking on the resulting track being quite so schmaltzy. Sure, you get solid performances from both the queen and court jester of R&B, but ultimately, there’s nothing vaguely memorable about ‘Fly’.
