Florence Road announce additional 3Olympia date

Florence Road have added a second night at the 3Olympia Theatre on December 15, in addition to their December 16 date, due to popular demand.

The shows come as part of the group’s first ever nationwide tour of Ireland. They will also play dates in Cork on November 27, Kilkenny November 28, Galway December 11, Limerick December 12 and Belfast December 14.

Originally formed in Bray, Co Wicklow in 2019, the four-piece all-girl band initially gained fame on TikTok by posting covers of songs by the likes of Paramore, Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish, amassing nearly one million followers.

The group, first named Panorama, came from childhood friendships among lead singer Lily Aron, drummer Hannah Kelly and bassist Ailbhe Barry. They expanded and adopted the name Florence Road in 2020 when guitarist Emma Brandon joined.

In October 2022, they released their debut single, ‘Another Seventeen’ and last summer, they dropped their debut EP, Fall Back, featuring six tracks.

Earlier this year, the band organised and performed in a set of solo intimate shows called Faoin Solas, raising funds for humanitarian work in Palestine. They also played a sold-out show at The Academy last year and returned to Dublin this past May for another sold-out show at 3Olympia.

“You could feel both the relief and catharsis from the band members, visible in their occasional tearful moments and in the clear joy they took in simply being on stage,” wrote Hot Press of their 3Olympia show in May.

Besides their own shows, they have supported Wallows, Sombr, Royel Otis, Wolf Alice and Olivia Rodrigo – opening for Rodrigo at London’s Hyde Park in 2025 to a crowd of 65,000.
