Flaming Lips bring animal magic to Dublin
As is their way, the Flaming Lips have inspired a highly surreal spectacle, this time in Dublin's Grafton Street.
The Oklahoma troupe are famous for using people dressed up as animals in their live set, but yesterday two bunnies escaped from the Flaming Lips zoo and found their way to Grafton Street.
Tis a timely move, as it coinicides with today's release of At War With the Mystics, their long-awaited follow-up to 2002's Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.
To mark the occasion and ease the pain of fans desperately waiting for said album, Tower Records off Grafton Street opened their doors at midnight, hence the Flaming Lips bunnies busy doing their business yesterday.
Spreading the word, that is.
