The only way is up for Monaghan-born actress Caitriona Balfe as the trailer for her newest venture Money Monster has just been unveiled.
Just last week, Balfe claimed a People's Choice award for her breakthrough role in sci-fi/fantasy show Outlander and now she joins a star studded cast of Julia Roberts, George Clooney and Dominic West for the film, which hits screens in May.
The trailer is a tension filled thriller and shows what to expect from this economically and politically charged film directed by Jodie Foster. Balfe plays the head of PR for the company whose stock bottomed thanks to the economic crash.
The casting should do wonders for Balfe’s status, and her leap from small to big screen. Give the first taste a watch below.
