FIghting fit
Foo Fighters return to Ireland for a Point date in celebration of new album One By One, about which Dave Grohl is not half excited. "This is the best album we've ever made," he informs us. "Now it's time to give it everything that we have"
Hot on the heels of their incendiary Witnness set, Foo Fighters return to Ireland on November 27 for a show at the Point Theatre.
By then Dave Grohl & co. will have unleashed their fourth album, One By One, which includes 'Low', 'Have It All', 'Disenchanted Lullaby' and the Brian May-assisted 'Tired' among its stand-outs.
"This is the best album we've ever made," Grohl gushes. "I feel like it deserves 100% of your attention. Now it's time to give it everything that we have. I can't wait to play it, to do more interviews. That's new for me! I'm excited to talk about the album; before, I couldn't give a shit. Just give someone a fucking CD and tell 'em to go figure it out! I'm excited and want to tell the world about it 'cause I'm so proud!"
Tickets – price yet to be confirmed – are available from September 14.
