After whetting our appetites with the pre-Christmas cracker that was ‘Carousel,’ Fight Like Apes return to action this issue with a brand spanking new EP. Adopting a more measured, mature, but no less fun approach to song-writing, lead track ‘Crouching Bees’ is the synth-laden standout and singer MayKay in particular sounds fired up and ready for war once more. ‘The Hunk And The Fun Palace’ is another highlight on the four track opus. The song reminds us why we fell for them in the first place. Bring on album number three.
