Festival of the Fires acts announced

The live music line-up has been announced for the Festival of the Fires, which is taking place on The Hill of Uisneach in Ballymore, County Westmeath on May 1.
The rekindling of one of Ireland’s oldest outdoor celebrations, it’ll be soundtracked by Sharon Shannon & Her Big Band, Mundy, Jerry Fish, Kíla and assorted musicians from Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. Tickets are €30, with children under 12 admitted free.
Uisneach is one of 20 hills in 17 counties that will come ablaze on May Day as part of the nationwide event.
