Feeding the Franz Frenzy

Yup, when the band were in Dublin last month we made them remove one of their fancy little red numbers, Magic Marker their names all over it and give it to us for a competition that'll be running soon on hotpress.com
Meanwhile, Franz completists should start saving their dollars up for an "expanded edition" of their debut album that's being released in the US on November 23.
Along with a new version of 'This Fire', it features 'Oh For You, Sophia' and 'Words So Leisured' which featured on the flip of 'Take Me Out' and the 'Darts Of Pleasure' B-sides, 'Shopping For Blood' and 'Van Tango'.
Things have been going very nicely, thank you for the boys in the States with Franz Ferdinand now residing in 590,000 American households and one of the favourites to land this year's Shortlist Music Prize, which is being handed out in LA next week.
