Family Tree

"The giddy noise emitted by self-touted "flower punks" Black Lips falls somewhere between surf rock and third wave ska, but whatever they’re going for, the Atlanta foursome sound like they're having a helluva lot of fun in the process. 'Family Tree' is one of the few songs on their 20-track sixth studio album Arabia Mountain that was not produced by dapper recording hot shot Mark Ronson (wait, seriously?), but it’s also the fiercest and best.
