Explains It All
NINETIES POP CLASSICS GLEEFULLY BUTCHERED
Explains It All is a pretty strange record that sees pop-punks Four Year Strong cover songs from the ‘90s. Bands like Everclear, No Doubt, the Smashing Pumpkins and erm, Alanis Morrissette all get worked over in the name of entertainment (apparently) leaving this reviewer scratching his head and wondering why? Still, if you’re the type of person who watches American Pie and thinks the songs that soundtrack the Stiff-Meister and Co are “sweet, dude,” but can’t be bothered to find the original versions, then this, my friend, is the record for you.
