Since forming 16 years ago, the Wicklow-based trio have reigned as one of the premier instrumental groups.

Even on album No. 9, Epitaph, the band pull absolutely no punches, packing all their pain and loss into a record which feels as innovative as it does mature.

Speaking about the album, Torsten Kinsella said: “This is an album that is very dear to our hearts, we hope you enjoy it and for all our fans in Europe, we will see you soon.”

The album will get its proper release this Friday, April 27.

On top of that news, God Is An Astronaut have just been announced to appear at Robert Smith’s Meltdown at the Southbank Centre.

The band will perform at Queen Elizabeth Hall on June 18, 2018. For more info and tickets here.
