Eternally (Live session)
The island of Inishbofin off the Connemara coast is hardly a hotbed for cutting edge tunage, even if this particular correspondent did spend a raucous weekend drinking on its shores, belting out a thoroughly dreadful medley of classic dance anthems and freestyle be bop. But, that’s a tale for another day, folks. Right now, the people of ‘Bofin are being treated to an altogether more beautiful sound courtesy of Galway singer-songwriter Ultan Conlon. Filmed by David Souto, this clip finds Conlon pottering around a miniature beach, serving up a heartstring-pulling version of his track ‘Eternally’. One camera, one song, one take, one ocean. Just try and limit yourself to one watch.
