Electric Picnic 2026: Salty Dog line-up revealed, featuring Thumper, Charles Hendy's Showband Party, Mik Pyro and more

Electric Picnic's forest-dwelling shipwreck is set to return to Stradbally for its 19th year - with this year's Salty Dog line-up revealed today.

With just two months to go until the sold-out festival returns to Stradbally Hall in Co. Laois (from August 28–30), the likes of The Wran, Babyrat, Fizzy Orange,  These Charming Men, Mik Pyro, Groovline, and Andjo Banjo and The Muirthemne Ramblers have now been added to the bill, as part of the Salty Dog line-up.

The Wran and Babyrat were both tipped to have breakout years in Hot Press' Hot For 2026, and will take to the stage at Electric Picnic following performances at Clonmel's When Next We Meet earlier this year. 

Also set to take to the stage are Charles Hendy and Andjo Banjo, brothers and founding members of The Mary Wallopers.

The Salty Dog stage is also famed for its secret gigs – with Rick Astley among those to have played a surprise set there in recent years.

Last week, Electric Picnic confirmed that Lewis Capaldi will headline this year's festival on Friday, August 28.

The Scottish singer joins the ranks of already announced headliners Gorillaz, Fontaines D.C., as well as CMAT, Sombr and Zara Larsson.
