Skepta announces new album The Fork and Knife
This will be the UK rapper's eighth album.
Skepta has announced his new album The Fork and Knife, which drops on Friday, November 6.
The rapper took inspiration from a range of musical styles while writing and producing the album, including grime, garage, jungle, and electronic music.
The record will explore a variety of themes including identity, disaspora, and the merging of cultures. It will take visual inspiration from 1980s Nigerian-British imagery, football culture, and documentary-style realism.

Skepta wrote a heartfelt message to fans in a post on Instagram:
"I poured my fucking heart out on this album, it’s been a task making something conscious but still turnt up.
"I’ve grown up on YouTube and ultimately in front of you all and I believe the fact you’ve supported me for so long, I really do owe you honesty, I owe it to you to dig deeper, put my childish ego to the side and look inward to find some liberation that can help all of us."
His single 'Sirens (From Ireland), released in October 2025, features a Garda car on the single cover, while the chorus features the line "I don't wanna get violent but you can get a punch from Ireland, you can get a kick from Thailand."
His previous album, Skepta...Fred, with UK DJ Fred Again.. dropped in August 2025. The DJ performed a surprise gig in Dublin last November in RDS Simmonscourt, where he brought out Dundalk rapper Reggie to perform his remix of 'Talk of the Town.'
Skepta performed at Electric Picnic in August, following the gig he shared on his Instagram that it was "one of the best shows of my entire career."
