Electric Picnic 2025 Tickets Have Sold Out
The festival returns to its familiar end-of-August slot next year – and people are clearly hungry for more!
Electric Picnic have announced that tickets for next year’s festival have sold out. The news comes through as fans reflect on what was indisputably one of the great years, with Kylie Minogue ending the 2024 event in real style on Sunday night.
Electric Picnic 2024 was notable for the number of Irish acts given major slots across the three days – and both drawing crowds and ranking among the highlights of the weekend. Hot Press cover stars Kneecap went down a storm, with CMAT, The Waterboys, Villagers, Damien Dempsey, Kodaline, Bambi Thug, The Mary Wallopers, The Saw Doctors, and Amble among those who lifted the roof (metaphorical or otherwise) off the Stradbally site.
“Tickets for Electric Picnic 2025 went on sale this morning at 9am and have now sold out,” an EP post on X stated. “Well, there were a couple of hiccups with the loyalty tickets, but you wanted to be there and persevered. Ticketmaster corrected the hiccups and the loyalty tickets sold out as well as the first-time buyer tickets so the lucky ones have them and we are sold out.
“We are looking forward to putting on the best festival in Ireland for you again next year,” the statement concluded.
