Electric Picnic 2007 preparations commence

Plans for Electric Picnic are underway, with the dates now confirmed as Aug 31 - September 2.
This means that as per this year's festival, it will take place over three days.
Despite 2006's affair being sold out well in advance - with a bill that included New Order, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, PJ Harvey and Antony And The Johnsons - the promoters have announced that it will retain its initmate capacity of 32,500.
Pre-sale tickets will be available from Monday 11 December at €199 plus booking fee from TIcketmaster and all usual outlets.
