Ed Sheeran urges fans to avoid ticket touts
Ed Sheeran doesn't want his fans to engage with ticket touts which re-sell tickets for his upcoming concerts for higher prices after they are sold out on official providers.
Tickets for Ed Sheeran's show's in Dublin's 3Arena are hard to get, being sold out only minutes after they go on sale. The disappointed fans try to buy on secondary ticketing websites, which are selling the passes for up to ten times their value.
The singer-sonwriter shows his concern about his tickets being sold for prices up to 1000€ and urges his fans not to buy tickets at much higher prices.
A representative told the Press Association they are “deeply concerned” and “vehemently opposed to the unethical practices that occur in the secondary market.” They speak up to fans not to purchase any tickets from providers who sell them over their value.
Sheeran now reportedly teamed up with the Ticket platform Twickets to support the “ethnical resale of tickets.”
Ed Sheeran will play two shows in Dublin’s 3Arena this April.
