Ed Sheeran launches record label
The superstar adds a new venture to his already stellar music career
Music fans can't seem to get enough of Ed Sheeran, but Sheeran himself can't get enough of the up and comers he listens to. Rather than sit around and passively enjoy them though, the English singer-songwriter has decided to start his own record label to give young talent a chance to get some serious traction, further evidencing how tremendous a mensch he is.
The label, formed from a partnership with Warner Music Group, is called Gingerbread and the first signed act is fellow Brit Jamie Lawson, currently supporting Sheeran on tour in Australia. Certainly exciting news for the music world on all levels!
