Festival veterans Desert Aces will be strutting their stuff alongside well known bluegrass acts like Knotty Pine, Molly Hicks, Little Ass Birds and Bending The Strings in the picturesque Co Waterford village from August 25 - 28.
Over 50 free gigs are on hand for punters, hosted by local venues like the Strand Inn, The Haven Hotel, The Spinnaker, The Ocean Hotel, Powers Bar and Azzurro.
Desert Aces have long been on the festival circuit, with the six-piece having played in all four corners of Ireland. Relative newcomers will also be getting in on the act, with local favourites Southern Welfare returning for a second year. Southern Welfare will also be playing the inaugural Mohill Bluegrass Festival in Co Leitrim this weekend (August 12 - 14).
Almost 1,000 gigs and 150 bands into its illustrious history, the 17th Dunmore East Bluegrass Festival makes its bow at the Haven Hotel at 7pm on Thursday August 25.
