Dublin Electronic Arts Festival calls it a day
But not before the mother of all closing parties!
The organisers of the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival have announced that 2009's bash will be their last.
“We’ve decided to finish up on a high note and move on to other projects that we’re anxious to get off the ground – so it’s certainly not the last you’ve heard of us,” reads an official statement. “As so many people have invested so much time and effort to help us over the years, and so many of you have supported us by coming along to the events, we’ll be putting out a more detailed statement in a couple of weeks as to why we’ve decided to stop DEAF.”
Determined to go out with a bang, they’ve lined-up Detroit electro bass pioneers Aux 88, Jerome Hill, Rob Hall, Mark Broom and Toirse for the final DEAF closing party on Saturday night in The Good Bits, which can be found on D1's Store Street.
