Drenge - Fuckabout
One of the more melodic numbers from the Derbyshire duo’s self-titled debut, ‘Fuckabout’ is a pretty little ditty that wears its ’90s grunge influences on its tattered tartan sleeve. Adopting that tried and tested “quiet/loud/quiet/loud/fuzzy guitar solo” approach to songwriting that made household names of Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and even Bush, the track is a fun walk down memory lane that proves they can write a catchy melody when they want to.
