"Hello. Remember us?" begins Heritage Centre's biography and as it happens, we do - the Dublin fivesome's hook-laden debut EP The City, The Tree And The Fox was one of our most prized home-produced short players way back in 2009, around about the same time that its makers were making serious headway on the Irish live circuit. Then they disappeared for three years. Never mind though, because the lovable art poppers are back with the first track from their forthcoming debut LP, Alright, Check It Out. 'Don't You Ever Give Up On Yourself' is a swoonworthy piece of clanging indie pop, and the perfect appetite-whetter for their very welcome return in the Spring.
