Domino Records to run "pop up" radio station
The Oxegen-bound Bobby Gillespie is among the presenters.
Primal Scream mainman Bobby Gillespie will be among the presenters as Domino Records operates its own “pop up” radio station from June 6 to 12.
Operating in the London area on 88.7FM and worldwide on [link]dominorad.io[/link], Domino Radio will draw on the spirit of “The John Peel Show, Radio Caroline and Rinse FM and provide a dynamic schedule celebrating alternative arts and music loaded with individuality, free expression and all manner of sounds from around the world.”
Also contributing to the week-long broadcast will be Horrors singer Faris Badwan, reggae legend Dennis Bovell and Domino acts Animal Collective, Steve Mason, Hot Chip, Dirty Projectors, The Kills, Franz Ferdinand, Robert Wyatt and Anna Calvi.
