Reporting on Domhnall Gleeson being cast in a mega blockbuster is now a regular occurrence.
This time it's a family affair as Domhnall and Brian Gleeson are working together in the upcoming film which must make Mammy Gleeson a very proud mammy.
The film has no title assigned to it but the director and scriptwriter is the Oscar-winning Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan). The premise of the film delves into a couple's tranquil lifestyle which is abruptly mangled by the invasion of intruders into their home. Details remain sketchy at this point in time but for the lack of knowledge regarding the premise, the cast is reason enough to get excited about the project. The brothers are cast alongside with a stellar line-up which boasts Jennifer Lawrence, Michelle Pfeiffer and Javier Bardem. The release date is unknown but shooting is due to start in June.
Between the Gleesons they have some major projects in the pipeline. Domhnall will reprise his General Hux position in Star Wars, will portray Winnie The Pooh creator, AA Milne and National Lampoon co-founder in A Futile and Stupid Gesture. Meanwhile, Brian Gleeson will star with dad Brendan Gleeson in the highly-anticipated Assassin's Creed.
