Bold, brassy and dynamic as ever, Ram’s Pocket Radio, aka drummer, pianist and vocalist Peter McCauley makes a welcome return with the Dogs Run In Packs EP, a radio-friendly collection of songs with plenty of alt. rock bite. Vocally, the Lisburn man falls somewhere between Death Cab’s Ben Gibbard and Panic At The Disco’s Brendon Urie, and on the short-player’s title-track his voice melds miraculously with a dramatic and sometimes deranged-sounding piano line.
