'Dog Rough Dancing' finds Dundalk rockers Third Smoke in full Garth Brooks-mode, but ass-kicking 'Standing Outside The Fire'-era Brooks as opposed to nauseating sissyman Brooks. Simmering with infectious hand claps, charging percussion and a powerful, grinding vocal courtesy of Hugh Donlon, their toe-tapping whiskey-swilling debut single is hugely impressive stuff, especially coming from a band who look too young to be allowed set foot in a bar.
