Destroy Until God Rebuilds
Hardcore Supergroup Gets Its Chemical Romance On
Featuring members of countless alleged “punk” and “post-hardcore” bands from America (From First To Last, Matchbox Romance and Story Of The Year for those keeping score) D.R.U.G.S. is the latest effort from the supposedly tortured former Chiodos singer Craig Owens. Sounding a bit like a more muscular version of AFI and My Chemical Romance (only without the tunes) Destroy Until God Rebuilds is a pretty pedestrian opus that will probably appease the faithful – but anyone who’s heard a Rival Schools album (for example) won’t find much to rave about.
