Derry artist George Hutton shares new festive track 'Christmas In Our Town'
Acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter George Hutton has shared stages with some of the leading lights of Irish music, including Glen Hansard and Moya Brennan – as well as Hozier, when they were both members of Anúna.
A recent Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series performer, Derry singer-songwriter George Hutton has now released a new song for the holiday season with ‘Christmas In Our Town’.
Shared just in time for Christmas Eve, the SoundCloud release showcases the musician's trademark strong vocals and penchant for curating an intimate atmosphere.
Co-penned alongside collaborator Paul Casey and recorded at his Cable Junction Studio, the festive number comes hot on the heels of Hutton’s recent release ‘The Light’.

Written outside Kenmare in Kerry, ‘The Light’ features whispers of "ó solas, do grá" - which translates to "in light, there is love'. The love song contains nods to finding beauty in darkness and light in shade.
Always packing an emotional punch, the gorgeously vibrant music video is well worth watching.
