David Bowie announces new single, massive compilation

After last year's shock release of The Next Day, David Bowie has once again surprised fans by revealing plans for a monstrous, career spanning compilation, including an epic new single.

'Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)' is an eight minute long track, recorded with long-time collaborator Tony Visconti. As well as featuring on the compilation, it will also be given a release as a download, and a limited pressing as a 10" vinyl.

All for release on November 17, there's plenty on the compilation to lure in die hard fans of The Thin White Duke. 'Let Me Sleep Beside You' is from sessions from the unreleased album Toy, while 'Your Turn to Drive', previously only available as a download, makes its debut on CD.

Otherwise, though, it's a release crammed with the hits from across the 50 years of Bowie's career back to 1954.
