Dave Grohl Performs 'Blackbird' At The Oscars
Foo Fighters frontman plays reserved version of the classic White album track
Dave Grohl performed a gentle cover of the Beatles' 'Blackbird' during the 'In Memoriam' section of the 88th Academy Awards.
The tribute honoured actors, writers, producers and entertainers such as Christopher Lee, Robert Loggia, Maureen O'Hara, Alan Rickman, David Bowie and many others.
During a red carpet interview before the award ceremony, Growl told reporters that he decided to perform at the Oscars because if he didn't, his daughter would think he was a wimp.
