'Dancing On My Own' finds Swedish pixie Robyn in da club all on her tod, re-enacting the classic sob story of a girl watching her ex- cop off with his new squeeze. Early reviews of her upcoming fifth album have been very kind indeed, but I'm not sold on this track. Our heroine aims for sweeping emotion; all I'm getting is juvenile lyrics and plodding melody. Certainly no threat to the blippy magic sounds her future tour buddy Kelis is making these days.
