Damon Albarn to livestream show at London's The Globe Theatre on September 20
The Blur frontman will perform songs from his upcoming sophomore solo album, The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows.
Damon Albarn has announced his plans to livestream his upcoming show at London's the Globe Theatre.
He will perform songs from his upcoming album, The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows, alongside his band and a string quartet on September 20. The record is set to be released November 12.
In a statement, the Blur frontman and Gorillaz co-founder said, "I love playing in the round and at the Globe you can see the moon too, marvellous."
His second solo album was announced in June, and since then he has released three singles, including 'Polaris.' He also announced rescheduled tour dates. Albarn will perform at the National Concert Hall in Dublin on February 23 and 24, 2022.
The show will be livestreamed on Doors.Live in the UK, Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. It will not be available on-demand after the event, but viewers will able to watch live at set regional times on September 20.
