Damien Rice to play Jools Holland

His only European television appearance on his comeback, Damien Rice is to take the stage on Later...with Jools Holland this evening.

With My Favourite Faded Fantasy arriving at the end of next month, it will be a chance to hear a little more of what we can expect from the new Rick Rubin-produced album.

Of course, some lucky Irish fans will have the chance to catch Mr Rice doing his thing in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on November 3. Most, though, won't be so lucky; the show sold out in lightning fast time when tickets went on sale earlier this month.
