Controlfreak - We Wanna Be Sedated

Never ones to shy away from a debate, the politicised punk two-piece tackle the timely topic of the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations (and the binge drinking that comes with it) for latest single ‘We Wanna Be Sedated’. A cover of the Ramones classic (albeit with slightly tweaked lyrics and title), the always on-the-money Dublin duo deliver a faithful version of one of Da Bruddas’ best songs, whilst drawing attention to a problem that continues to plague modern society. Recommended for fans of Anti-Flag and the Dead Kennedys.
