Conspiracy

Yet another Cork outfit with Depeche Mode fever, Echogram have a fairly earnest piece of raunch rock on their hands with ‘Conspiracy’, the first track from their forthcoming LP. Despite naming Placebo and The Smashing Pumpkins as influences, the band’s debut single falls on the lighter end of the rock spectrum and a predictable “C’mon, c’mon” refrain make it sound more Von Bondies than Nine Inch Nails.
