Commander

After a year of slagging him to anyone who'd listen, Guetta supastar David won me over a few weeks back with the release of fabulously OTT Kelis number 'Acapella', which the Frenchman produced. 'Commander' is a definite step up from Guetta's previous Kelly Rowland collaboration and (lest we forget) massive chart hit 'When Love Takes Over', but unfortunately contains none of the vibrancy of the Kelis hit. On the upside, this tune marks the peak of Kelly Rowland's vocal talents, even if her cascading notes are primarily thanks to a sparkly Guetta box, with lots of knobs and levers on it.
