Come On
A terrific, sub-three minute rocker with no let-up from begging to end and a take-no-prisoners vocal performance from Brian Hogan, ‘Come On’ sounds like the result of a three-way collaboration between Jack White, the late Phil Lynott and (I’m not kidding here) ‘70s glamsters, The Sweet. In fact, I almost found myself singing the words to their 1973 hit ‘Blockbuster’ over the instrumental version helpfully included on this taster from Preachers Sons’ forthcoming album, 10 Stories Tall.
