God Knows, Kynsy, Aoife Nessa Frances and Anna Mieke are also among the acts revealed today.
The countdown for Ireland Music Week is officially on, with the release of the line-up for the festival's 2020 edition today.
The 50 acts set to perform at the showcase were revealed on the Tracy Clifford Show on RTÉ 2FM – and were chosen from a total of 400 applications.
Ireland Music Week, which places a strong emphasis on homegrown artists poised for international success, will welcome bookers, labels, publishers, managers, agents and more international professionals to virtually attend this year's showcase.
The online conference, which makes up an integral part of the event, will take place via the Ireland Music Week website across four days – while the music showcases will take place in Lost Lane, Dublin from October 8th to 10th.
Among the artists lined up for this year's Ireland Music Week are several acts we featured on the Hot Press Y&E Series – including Celaviedmai, CMAT, PowPig, Tebi Rex and Rachael Lavelle.
“We will be one of the first Irish festivals this year to move the complete event online while hiring back all of our annual team who work freelance and have been left with little or no work because of the restrictions on live events," Angela Dorgan, CEO of First Music Contact, revealed in a statement. "Artists will also be receiving a fee. We are a leader in this sector, so will be encouraging as many people as possible to purchase an online ticket (at a significantly reduced price) and support these 50 amazing acts as the world gets to see many of them for the very first time."
