Close Your Eyes
Debut album Sugar For My Soul came as a pleasant surprise when it fell into my lap back in August, but I still can't, in good conscience, say that I approve of any artist that quotes Keats on their single artwork (the line about wanking in your sleep - I'm paraphrasing of course.) That said, 'Close Your Eyes' - on which Lydia Des Dolles does not quote dead poets, but instead purrs over a confident '60s groove - is a catchy little number that's simply made for radio.
