Close-up Vol. 1: Love Songs
New york song-bird back At what she does best
Doing exactly what it says on the cover, jazz vixen Suzanne Vega's eighth album is a collection of love songs, all sung in her own inimitable style. For the most part it's all voice and guitar. That doesn't mean listening to the album is a forgettable experience. Songs like 'Small Blue Thing' and 'Gypsy' are timely reminders of just how good a story-teller Suzanne Vega really is.
