Carlsberg Comedy Carnival announce line-up
Some of the nation’s top comedians – plus visiting international stars – will appear at this summer's Carlsberg Comedy Festival, which takes place in the Iveagh Gardens, Dublin.
Launched today, the event takes place over four days from July 23- 26 in specially built, fully-seated venues – so not even bad weather can put a downer on the occasion.
In the midst of the comic madness, expect strong shows from The Panel regulars Andrew Maxwell, Colin Murphy, Dermot Whelan, Neil Delamere and Karl Spain as they all have their own solo shows to wows audiences.
Other Irish acts Naked Camera stars include Maeve Higgins and PJ Gallagher, and the ever-energetic Jason Byrne.
There will also be a special show to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Des and Aidan Bishop’s International Comedy Club.
Coming in from further afield are the team captains of 8 Out Of 10 Cats Sean Lock and Jason Manfurd, Flight of the Conchord guest stars Eugene Miriam (the landlord) and Toddy Barr (The Third Conchord), and Saturday Night Live writer Leo Allen.
Tickets go on sale on Monday, May 25 from all usual outlets, with prices varying depending on the show.
