Calvin Harris confirms Irish tour
There's also another Dizzee Rascal collaboration on the way.
The bottom-wiggling brigade are in for a treat when Calvin Harris hits the Academy, Dublin (November 6); Lush, Portrush (7); and St. George’s Market, Belfast (8).
“What I’m into at the moment,” reveals the Scottish DJ, producer and raider of the charts, “is the idea of stadium dance. Playing football stadiums with massive riffs and big hands-in-the-air moments.”
Fatboy Slim, it seems, has some serious competition.
Prior to his Irish jaunt comes the release of ‘Holiday’, Harris’ second collaboration with Dizzee Rascal. It’s culled from Dizzee’s forthcoming Tongue N Cheek album, which he describes as “naughty but nice, just celebrating the good things in life.”
