CaCa Milis Cabaret brings a post-modern vaudeville to Dublin
The July edition features new original music, spoken word, short film, comedy and classic cabaret.
Coming to Arthur’s, at 28 Thomas St., on July 19 is the CaCa Milis Cabaret. The Cabaret seeks to bring a focus to the many disciplines of the arts in the style of the olde-time vaudeville music hall setting.
This month's edition features music from Lorraine McColgan and The Winters, fiction from Louise O’Neill, comedy from Dave Hayden, comedy from Christiane O’Mahoney, film from Andrew Legge and tribal fusion dance from The Orchids Dance Troupe. The show will also include a birthday toast for Hunter S. Thompson, with prizes for the best Hunter S. look-a-like.
