Bulmers Live at Leopardstown announces SexyTadhg as closing headliner
SexyTadhg will perform on Thursday July 23 as the final act of the 'All Irish' line-up.
SexyTadhg has been revealed as the final act of the 'All Irish' line-up for Bulmers Live at Leopardstown, July 23.
The multi-instrumentalist from Carlow is the last headline act to be announced, joining the Irish trad supergroup BIIRD, who are performing on July 16.
Bulmers Live at Leopardstown has already seen a double-header from Róisín O and Shobsy, as well as alt-pop band SODA BLONDE and electro-pop duo Le Boom.
SexyTadhg is set to make a host of appearances at festivals this summer, taking to the stage at All Together Now as well as Liú Lúnasa in Belfast's Gaeltacht quarter.
The artist integrates elements of trad music into their performances and emphasises a celebration of the Irish language.
Speaking to Hot Press back in April, the musician explained: "I began bringing it into live shows with my band and every time I took out the fiddle, the audience response was electric. There was this unspoken, in-built excitement."
Following their latest EP, SlutTrad, released in May, SexyTadhg announced the SlutTrad headline tour in the UK and Ireland. Including shows in Limerick, Belfast, Kerry and Vicar Street in Dublin on December 17.
