SexyTadhg has announced their new EP Tadhg.
Alongside the news, the LGBTQIA+ artist released the single ‘The Slag Of Carlow Town’.
"‘The Slag Of Carlow Town’ was born from my first time integrating the fiddle and trad music into a performance as SexyTadhg, during my musical ‘Television’ which debuted at Dublin Fringe Festival," said SexyTadhg.
"After that debut, I began bringing it into live shows with my band, and every time I took out the fiddle, the audience response was electric. There was this unspoken, in-built excitement."
SexyTadhg has also announced the Slut Trad tour, which includes a show in Limerick's Kasbah Social Club on October 30 and Belfast's Ulster Sports Club on November 28.
Their Irish and UK tour also includes a show in the Gleneagle Arena in Kerry on December 4 and in Vicar Street, Dublin on December 17.
Tadhg follows SexyTadhg's debut EP Sexy. Released last year, Sexy celebrates the joy and freedom of the queer experience while also acknowledging the struggle and prejudice that queer individuals face.
In 2025, SexyTadhg supported The Mary Wallopers during their UK tour.
Tickets for the Slut Trad tour will be available here on Friday, April 24.
