Broken English EP
An impressive debut outing from the highly-touted young Kildare four-piece which is strongly reminiscent of late ?70s/early ?80s outfits like Echo & The Bunnymen, Magazine and Gang Of Four. The clipped, angular, guitar assault on all four tracks is key to their sound while the songs are striking and urgent, the best of them being the chugging, chiming ?89‘ which boasts some impressive time-signature changes, the chaotic ?Waypoints‘ which has hints of (very) early U2 in the vocals department and the Placebo like-?Better Undone‘
