Breath Of Life

There’s lots of fire in the video for ‘Breath Of Life’, the preposterously theatrical (yes, even for her!) number penned by Florence + The Machine exclusively for summer blockbuster Snow White & The Huntsman. Lots of fire and daggers and blood and running, things which perfectly reflect Florence Welch’s gothic soul pop at the worst of times, but seem almost obligatory when her voice is pimped out with a full orchestra and a 60-person choir. Flo’s voice sounds several stories tall with a gospel backing, but those who’ve heard ‘No Light, No Light’, will know that already.
