BP FALLON AND THE GHOST WOLVES - Track Review
I’m Still Legal
A timely taster for their upcoming Electric Picnic appearance, the legend they call Beep joins forces with the Austin, Texas rockers for this oddity inspired by lax US gun laws and recent school/cinema shootings. He doesn’t actually “sing” of course, but “speaks” the lyrics in a John Cooper Clarke style over a bluesy bottleneck guitar riff and a primal drum beat. It’s short (mercifully, some might say), clocking in at just over two minutes, but it’s certainly not sweet. “This gun madness never ceases to amaze me, it’s crazy, crazy, crazy,” he pleads and he’s not wrong. Available exclusively on iTunes.
